Cariad Love Risograph Print

Designed and illustrated by me, Charlotte Hepburn, this Welsh-themed riso print takes inspiration from the tradition of Welsh love spoons. Historically carved by young men as tokens of affection, love spoons are a symbol of care, commitment, and romance.

The word “Cariad” means love in Welsh, and while there are many ways to say “I love you” in the language, mewn cariad is the phrase used for being in love. This print celebrates that sentiment through bold colour and joyful design.

Printed in the UK using vibrant, soy-based risograph inks on 250gsm Context Natural paper. Each print has its own quirks and character, with slight variations that make every one unique.
