I was commissioned by Sebra Books to create the cover illustration for the novel Hwyr i’r Parti by Nerys Rees Bowen.
The book is a humorous Welsh-language novel that explores the experience of learning Welsh and finding your place within the language and culture. For the cover, the aim was to reflect the landscape and atmosphere of the Welsh Valleys, where the story is set, capturing a sense of place alongside the warmth and humour of the novel.
